NASCAR Marketing History At Kentucky

Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals
SPARTA, Ky. – A Cincinnati-based corporation will make NASCAR history
this weekend at Kentucky Speedway.
Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals, the country’s leading provider of quality
nutraceuticals, will serve as primary sponsor on three different race cars
with three different products in Saturday night’s Meijer 300 NASCAR Busch
Series race. Not coincidentally, the 1.5-mile Kentucky Speedway is located
just 40 miles from the headquarters of the national corporation.
“The location of Berkeley Nutraceuticals in relation to Kentucky Speedway
makes a lot of this a no-brainer but the opportunity to bring three major products
into the NASCAR Busch Series as primary sponsors, and to tie in perfectly with
what stock car racing is all about, really made this work,” said Michael
Holigan, the owner of Holigan Racing.
Holigan fields the #50 Team Enzyte entry with 20-year-old driver Regan Smith.
Enzyte, the once-daily tablet for natural male enhancement, has been sponsoring
Holigan Racing’s NASCAR Busch Series team this season, as well as serving
as associate sponsor for Holigan’s AMA Supercross and AMA Motorcross
teams.
Holigan worked closely with Berkeley to establish sponsorships on two Stanton
Barrett Motorsports cars at Kentucky as well. Rogisen, which supports improved
night vision and helps prevent macular degeneration, will be on the car Barrett
drives. Barrett is also fielding a car for Shawna Robinson, which will be sponsored
by Altovis. Altovis is a non-prescription tablet that helps fight fatigue and
is ideal for working mothers, such as Robinson, the country’s most successful
female stock car racer.
“Besides the fact this is a first for any corporation to be a primary
sponsor for three different cars with three different products, we feel it
is going to get a lot of attention,” Holigan said. “Stanton and
Shawna are both experienced racers, and both have had some success in stock
car racing. Regan Smith brings a lot of talent and potential to Holigan Racing
and the Enzyte car.
“The fact Berkeley Premium Nutracueticals is headquartered less than
40 miles from the Kentucky Speedway start-finish line means this is an important
race from a morale standpoint, since so many Berkeley employees and friends
will be at the race.”
The daily lives of Holigan Racing’s Team Enzyte can be seen every Saturday
morning on Spike TV’s reality series The Reality Of Speed. The series
is the first reality series in the country to follow the daily lives of a stock
car team. The show airs nationally on Spike TV at 10:30 a.m. (Eastern )/9:30
a.m. (Central) each Saturday morning.
